329.17: THIS IS WHAT WE DO!!! (CD)

This is Mile 329's second audio compilation, reaffirming and extrapolating upon the themes introduced on our Don't Touch My Car!! CD. This disc features complex electronic music from around the world, including five Arizona-based artists and musical teams from Canada and Sweden. There is less video game music on this disc than initially expected, replaced by full-bandwidth atmosphere and rhythmic density. All pieces selected for inclusion on this disc were selected for their rigid structure, compositional coherence, and accomplished sound design. All are previously unreleased, and the contributing artists only participated by direct invitation by Mile 329. Imagine metal percussion, layers of feedback, digitally treated acoustic drumming, corrosive waves of digital noise, immersive ambience, supremely executed glitchcraft, and low-resolution digital synthesis. Expect short stops in Hip Tanaka 1986 and Kyle Reese 1984.
